SkeyDrone Showcases Hardware-Agnostic Drone Detection Capabilities at Belgian TIE

Sint-Truiden, 26 September 2025 – The Belgian Technical Integration Exercise (TIE) 2025, organised by Agoria, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and technology providers from 22 to 26 September at DronePort in Sint-Truiden. The week-long event marked a pivotal moment for collaborative innovation in counter-uncrewed aircraft systems (C-UAS) technologies, fostering dialogue on the operational, technical, legal, and ethical aspects of safeguarding airspace.

The initiative culminated on Friday 26 September with a Public Day, where a broader audience was invited to witness live demonstrations, integrated data visualisations, and the official presentation of the C-UAS White Paper.

As part of the programme, SkeyDrone demonstrated the hardware-agnostic capabilities of its drone detection platform, underlining its flexibility and future-proof approach to airspace safety & security. While the company’s nationwide deployments currently rely primarily on Senhive’s RF-based SENID+ sensors, the demonstration highlighted seamless integrations with additional leading providers, including ZSE, Robin Radar, BSS and Sphear.

“This demonstration confirms SkeyDrone’s ability to integrate multiple sensor technologies into one coherent operational picture,” said Kristof Gilleman, Head of Product and Operations at SkeyDrone. “By proving our platform is truly hardware-agnostic, we can provide our customers with robust, scalable, and flexible C-UAS solutions tailored to their specific needs, without being locked into a single hardware vendor.”

Marcel Verdonk, CCO at Robin Radar commented: “The benefits of combining our market-leading IRIS drone detection radar with an end-to-end solution like SkeyDrone’s are tremendous. The recent drone incursions that shut down airports across Europe are a stark reminder to protect our airspace and keep it secure.”

Agoria’s initiative reinforces Belgium’s leadership in fostering innovation and integration in drone security, setting the stage for continued advancements in the sector.
