SkeyDrone selected by Elia for Multi-Site Drone Detection Deployment Across Belgium

Steenokkerzeel, 24 September 2025 – SkeyDrone is proud to announce a landmark agreement with Elia, Belgium’s high-voltage transmission system operator, for the deployment of its advanced drone detection solution across multiple sites.

With its strategic position in the heart of Europe, Elia plays a pivotal role in the interconnected electricity system and is recognized as an essential pillar of the European energy market. As emerging global and national threats intensify and the energy sector faces increasing attention from the public and media, Elia remains committed to safeguarding the integrity and resilience of its operations.

Following an extensive evaluation process comparing international alternatives, Elia selected SkeyDrone for its innovative technology, operational reliability, and user-centric software features. This multi-site deployment marks a significant step in Elia’s commitment to enhancing security and operational resilience in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
